The Old Granary – Accommodation
Our beautiful and unusual 17th century sandstone Old Granary Barn offers the perfect setting for you and your close family to stay in our onsite wedding accommodation both before and after your wedding day celebrations with us.
The wedding accommodation is self catering, allowing you to bring and prepare your own food and drink for the duration of your stay. Our well equipped kitchen has all the crockery and utensils you should need and a large fridge/freezer, oven and dishwasher.
Bedrooms
On the ground floor is a charming double with a king size bed. This room has two exposed sandstone walls and has the benefit of an adjacent shower room. There is a separate cloakroom with a traditional high cistern WC.
Upstairs, the second of the double bedrooms is light and very spacious with a super king size bed and its own en-suite bathroom. This second double bedroom has a unique spiral staircase leading downstairs; this makes for superb photographic opportunities when getting ready for the big day.
The third bedroom has three single beds and a single day bed. It too has its own en-suite bathroom; which works perfectly as a little dormitory for the wedding party or other family members.
There is a sweet little leaded window in this room which you and your bridal party can peak out of whilst getting ready to see all of the guests arriving.
The Barn offers the ideal hideaway for you and your wedding party to relax and get ready before the ceremony in our Stone Barn or at a nearby Church.
You can check in the day before your wedding and enjoy a wonderful, cosy evening before wedding preparations begin in earnest the following morning.
On the morning of your wedding, your wedding suppliers such can arrive directly to the Barn and there is ample parking directly outside and all the necessary facilities inside the Barn.
Our team will be on hand to assist with anything you require throughout your time with us. They will oversee and guide accordingly and come to collect you and your wedding party to meet with the Registrars, pre-ceremony.
The Cart Barn
We have recently converted The 19th century Cart Barn providing a spacious studio style, open plan bed-sitting room for couples – offering a two night stay.
The open plan living-dining area is fully equipped for your self catering needs, including appliances you would find in most family kitchens in addition to a few added comforts, such as a Nespresso machine and fully automated electronic blinds.
Bedroom & Shower room
The Bedroom has a Super King sized bed with a free standing bath and adjacent WC & Shower room. Perfect after your wedding day!
